This is Birdie Brennan’s very own personal closet;  perfectly organized, right down to the shopping bag on the floor.  One thing that is very helpful, especially this time of year when spring cleaning is upon us, is to keep a shopping bag or bin in the closet for easy donating.  If you put something on that doesn’t quite fit anymore or is out of style, throw it in the bag! At the end of the month, take the bag to donate and make room in your closet for your new summer wardrobe.

Also, think about giving adventures instead of things! Designate a spot in your home to put all the gifts.  That way you aren’t stuffing items here and there only to find a missed gift in July!

Happy Holidays are Organized Holidays!

Pull out your decorations and decide what goes where.  Decide on your timeline if it is better to schedule an afternoon to decorate all at once or if you should do one room at a time.  When you are done; do you love it? If so, take a picture and store it with the decorations to help with next year.  Are there some that don’t make the cut? It is a good idea to donate them now, so someone else can love them!
